101. Watch the DVDs I own but have not seen.
Vampire Hunter D: Man, this is one seriously weird movie. It takes place far in the future, when humans live at the mercy of the vampire aristocracy, and their mutants and werewolves. When Doris is bitten by the head vampire, a vampire hunter known as D shows up to save her. And he fights sirens who are actually a multiheaded snake with long hair. And the girl's little brother has an accent but nobody else does. And there's a talking hand that inhales dirt. Look, I don't know. It's anime. Eventually you learn to just go with it.

Date: 2012-02-26 08:36 am (UTC)Did you know that there are 2 movies of Vampire Hunter D?
You watched the first one and I have to agree: It's really kinda weird.
The second one has a completely different style of drawing and the story is much better too, in my opinion.
I liked watching it better than the other one.

Date: 2012-02-27 05:35 am (UTC)I do like it since I read the mangas before watching the films.
The story is the same like in the second manga if I remind myself correctly. But the film version is the one I like better. Though I should not spoil to much if you want to see it. 8D
I really like your journal.
Just read through a view entries. I think it's very intresting and amusing. :)
