Current progress: 19000/100,000

Donated another 5000 over lunch. Tip on the paintings: when in doubt, it's Renoir!

Paintings? *confused* What paintings? Also, I'm astonished at how quickly you're able to get so many points. It takes me forever to get through so many vocabulary words. Am I doing something wrong?

If you click on "change subject" at the top right corner of the question box, you'll get this page. I get bored with vocab after a while so I like to switch it up.

And I doubt you're doing anything wrong. I'm just speedy. And admittedly the paintings and countries go faster because there's less reading, and with a lot of them, you either know it or you don't.

For me it was Van Gogh. I found the countries of the world more interesting for a while except it seemed to repeat an awful lot given how many options it had.

It did repeat a lot. I can't handle doing the countries for very long, though, because I start feeling incredibly stupid.

I think I was better with the Van Gogh paintings because I got pretty familiar with his style in Amsterdam.

Oh, I see what you mean. I got most of the Van Goghs correct; there were just a ton of them. I also got a couple Franz Marcs. :-)

The repetition of the countries helped me feel less stupid. "Well, they told me that was Suriname last time, so it must be Suriname."
