I own a lot of books about writing, including A Writer's Book of Days by Judy Reeves. In addition to assorted projects and ideas, there are 365 writing prompts, each labeled by date. I tried doing this as a daily writing exercise but found that I didn't work well with that sort of schedule. So I decided to try to get through them all, more or less in order, in 1001 days. I finally started yesterday during the write-in.
