3. Write one thing I'm grateful for in my diary every day for a month

Date completed: 31 August 2011

I got so used to doing this that it was actually a few days into September before I realized I didn't have to do it anymore. But I've been trying to keep a gracious attitude in my diary anyway, because I find it helps me put my problems in perspective.

3. Write one thing I'm grateful for in my diary every day for a month

I started this on the first of August, and so far it's going well. I've read about gratitude journals in the past, and decided maybe it was time to try it out for myself. My only requirement is that it's something I am actuall grateful for, earnestly and not passive-aggressively (such as being grateful nothing else has gone to crap that day).

Considering what a difficult month it's been, this has turned out to be one of the best months I could have chosen for this project. It's really helped me see the positive side of every day.
